Discover our state-of-the art facilities
We have a learning environment like no other in our region, allowing our students to experience the world of work first hand.
With a large industry standard engineering and manufacturing workshop, containing state of the art equipment, we provide our students with the crucial employability skills and technical knowledge that employers are looking for by allowing them access to resources that they wouldn’t have in any other state school.
Alongside our main engineering workshop we have a range of specialist suites that enable us to support the advanced teaching of engineering design, electronics, systems and control and materials technology – all kitted out with high end machinery just like you’d find in the workplace, in rooms that are sponsored by leading employers from across our region.
We have dedicated computer science suites, in association with GCHQ, and cutting edge Mac suite along with a CAD room where students are able to be taught not only by our highly skilled teaching staff but also by our employer partner’s UNISON who give regular masterclasses and show how the skills we teach can be transferred into the world of work.
Our core teaching curriculum is enhanced by flexible general teaching areas and our 3 dedicated science labs are full of the latest equipment to further enhance your experience. Our award winning building is designed to help you maximise your learning experience from the moment you step foot through our doors and it has to be seen to be believed!

Very pleased that two of our CCF Officers were able to attend the Royal Navy Flag Rededication at St Mary's yesterday. Here they are pictured with Commodore Paul Sutermeister RN and his wife, and the Standard Bearer Chris Hall of the Royal Navy Association. #CCF #RoyalNavy https://t.co/kD2spHZbCc

Yesterday saw Year 10 at the beach for team building activities. Despite the damp start all teams got stuck in with building the tallest tower from the rocks and sand around them, well done Team Woolley for coming in first! 🙌🙌 #beachday #teamwork https://t.co/1MRZYwG9Zi
