You receive a lot of hands on interaction with employers especially through their Career Development Programme. You can work with employers such as GCHQ, Unison, DSE and The York Minster Project.

They have given me contacts which have helped with my future employment as I have already secured a job before leaving Sixth Form in a very specialised industry.

What would you say to someone who is looking for sixth form options about Scarborough UTC

I like the hands-on experiences that you get here and there are lots of opportunities to work with employers. I have been to London and will go to Barcelona with college in Summer. I did two summer schools – Cyber First at Newcastle and Electrical Engineering at Hertfordshire University.
